Prince George's County
Located just outside of Washington, D.C., you'll never run out of things to do in Prince George's County. More than 300 years old, the county donated land for the Capital about 200 years ago, and is now just a short ride on the MetroRail from all of the national attractions found there, including the Kennedy Center, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Smithsonian Institute. Baltimore's Inner Harbor and Annapolis Maryland are both less than an hour away.
Prince George's County attractions include:
FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins football team.
Andrews Air Force Base.
The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Six Flags America amusement park.
Half a dozen colleges and universities, including the University of Maryland.
